Ingredients

For the Steak:

  • 2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks (1-inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme


For the Lobster Tails:

  • 2 lobster tails (5-6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley



For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Lobster Tails

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Use kitchen scissors to cut down the top shell of each lobster tail, exposing the meat.
  • Gently lift the meat out and rest it on top of the shell for an elegant presentation.

2️⃣ Season & Bake the Lobster

  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and lemon juice.
  • Brush the butter mixture over the lobster meat.
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and white.

3️⃣ Cook the Steak

  • Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Season both sides of the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • In the last minute of cooking, add butter, garlic, and rosemary.
  • Baste the steak by spooning the melted butter over it for extra flavor.
  • Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
