CONNECTION
Connect with people, animals, or
spirituality. This can help you not feel so
disconnected and isolated mentally,
physically, and emotionally. Ask yourself,
who's your support system?
COURAGE
In order to overcome your fear of failure,
body image or weight gain, you have to
face those fears. Face food fears by
slowly adding the food you restricted
back into your life without labeling it as
good or bad.
COMMITMENT
Make recovery from your eating
disorder a priority. Make sure to pick
yourself after a slip-up. Understand your
only human and will make mistakes
and up and downs in the journey but
stay committed to yourself by
continuing to move forward.
REALISTIC TIME FRAME
Allow yourself to occupy your time
doing new things and activities. Find
new hobbies, and discover yourself more.
Real change takes time, trust the
process and avoid putting an
unrealistic time frame on it.
CLARITY
Ask yourself, what am I currently
working on in my recovery? What
do I want to replace that behavior
with?
