Veggies can be added to dessert too like zucchini brownies. Make sure to have a variety of color on your plate. Typical veggies during thanksgiving are green beans, Brussels sprouts, squash, peas, roasted carrots.
How to add more Lean Meats to Thanksgiving?
Stick with the leaner cut meats like turkey and chicken. And remember don’t overdo it, aim to have a variety of foods AND color on your plate. Baked beans are a great option too.
